Event Photos

We had such a wonderful time at our annual Summer Supporter Event recently.

This event is such a wonderful opportunity to bring all of our fantastic supporters together for the chance to say THANK YOU and to celebrate the difference that they all make here at Hearts Together. We also had the honour of introducing the newest Hearts Together team member - Daisy the Deer mascot !! 🦌

We took this opportunity to say a special thank you to a few of our supporters who have gone the extra mile for us this past year and without whom we would not be able to achieve all we have, read more about these fantastic individuals below!  We also took the time to thank the countless other individuals, organisations and businesses who have and continue to support our mission, making a positive difference each year and who’s generosity helps us to offer an affordable service.

Thank you to all who came along and celebrated with us !

Our "You Make The Difference Celebrations"!

our charity supporters who have made a difference

Young Volunteer of the year Joss Resdell Joss recently volunteered with us as part of his school work experience and he worked closely with our Guest Services team. Joss completed all his work to a high standard and over the week proved himself to be a real team player - dependable, polite and eager to learn. He was a real asset to the team and a wonderful example of how young people have so much to offer and can make a real difference.
Team nominated volunteer of the year Vera Holder Vera has been volunteering with and working alongside the Guest Services team and supporting guests for over two years. Her steadfast support and dedication have been invaluable, especially on those super busy days. There is often a real sigh of relief when Vera comes in, a much needed extra pair of hands to get stuck in and help out, we couldn't do it without you - Thank you.
Dedicated supporter of the year Diana and Richard Manning Diana and Richard have been supporting Hearts Together as community fundraisers for just under a year now. Their enthusiasm, compassion and dedication to our cause is inspiring and we are so fortunate to have them as part of our team. Diana and Richard have a personal link to Hearts Together having first used our services early last year, so they know from experience what a difference having a facility such as Hearts Together Hospital Hotel can make.
Dedicated long service supporter

Jeannie & Henry

(Dancing Duo)

Jeannie and Henry have been supporting Hearts Together for around 20 years, raising money as the Dancing Duo to enable us to continue to support our guests year on year. They have raised over £23 thousand pounds over the years, which I’m sure you will all agree is a staggering amount and we are so grateful for their lifelong support to our cause.
Community Fundraiser of the year Devonshire Freemasons. We have been extremely fortunate over the past year specifically and in previous years, to be supported by various Devonshire Freemason Lodges, as well as recently being awarded over £1200 from the WAKE Fund, having been nominated by supporting lodges. We are incredibly appreciative of this on-going wider community support both in terms of the donations made and the awareness raising of our cause.
Charity partner of the year DDRC Hearts Together and DDRC have had a long standing close working relationship and over the past 18 months this has become a more formalised partnership, as DDRC continue to work to treat the growing number of patients in need of specialist treatment for complex conditions, whilst we ensure that during their treatment patients have a safe, supportive and comfortable place to stay and recuperate.  Charity collaborations are key and this is a great example of how working together we can make a real difference in times of need.
Corporate supporter of the year Southwest Laundry We would like to thank the South West Laundry team and in particular Lee, for treating us as a ‘special case’ doing all they can to keep some of our most significant costs as low as possible, understanding that in doing so we in turn are able to keep our room costs as low as possible for the people we are here to support. Their flexibility, understanding and compassion have made such a difference. Thank you

Thank you to all who came along and celebrated with us and we look forward to seeing you all next year!
