Gifts That Give Back Campaign

Campaign Period: The "Gifts That Give Back" Hearts Together Christmas Appeal will run from 20th November to 1st January 2023 inclusive.

Participation Guidelines:

Participants may select tags from the Charity Tree or linked website tags and are encouraged to fulfil the suggested donation or support as indicated on the chosen tag.
Multiple tags may be chosen for multiple contributions.
Donations can be made for this campaign online via the Hearts Together website portal, via cheque, cash or through the specified methods as indicated on the tags.
All donations must be made directly to Hearts Together

Eligibility: Participation in the Campaign is open to individuals of over the age of 18. Employees, volunteers, and affiliates of Hearts Together are welcome to support. Please note that the raffle is conducted using an automated randomised number generator and the lottery is facilitated through a third party, The One Lottery, which is independent and not under the control of Hearts Together.

Rewards and Incentives:

Participants will receive the satisfaction of contributing to a charitable cause and spreading the spirit of giving.
Gift tags cannot be exchanged for monetary value, prizes, or goods.

Privacy and Data Collection:

Personal information collected during the Campaign will be used for the purpose of acknowledging and thanking participants and to send updates about the charity's activities.
Participant information will not be shared with third parties without consent.
Hearts Together will comply with all applicable data protection laws.

Three Peaks Fundraiser

Last year we lost our loving and dear friend Oliver suddenly. In his name we are trying to raise some money to support a charity that, when it was needed the most, were there for his family. With Oli's love of the outdoors, this June we are going to tackle the highest peaks from Scotland, England and Wales in 24 hours for the Hearts Together charity.

The generosity of fundraisers and charity supporters enables us to provide thousands of patients, carers & relatives with a home away from home and invaluable support, when they or a loved one are receiving medical care or treatment
Our plans to expand

Our big build project sees Hearts Together set to expand from 26 bedrooms to 73 over two build phases, an ambitious but very necessary challenge that we intend to meet head on, as we look to accommodate the ever-growing needs of patients, carers, relatives, our local community, healthcare professionals and trainees.

he thought of creating a Hospital Hotel which would support patients receiving treatment at Derriford was the dream Monica Pearce first suggested back in 1993, following her successful campaign for the Cardiac unit to be brought to Derriford in 1994.
Student Volunteer Counsellors

We are looking for student counsellors to join our team alongside our qualified counsellors to help us to provide an informal counselling support service for our guests staying at Hearts Together Hospital Hotel. This service is so important in enabling us to provide much-needed support to those who are often preoccupied with supporting others, or who are dealing with complex or life-changing issues themselves.
