Our big build project sees Hearts Together set to expand from 26 bedrooms to 73 over two build phases, an ambitious but very necessary challenge that we intend to meet head on, as we look to accommodate the ever-growing needs of patients, carers, relatives, our local community, healthcare professionals and trainees. Our home from home accommodation sees around 10,000 patients, carers and relatives staying with us each year and we are open 365 days a year. This means there are a lot of beds to change! We have a busy team of housekeepers but an extra pair of hands to make the odd bed or two is always greatly appreciated! Read more
We are on the lookout for a general handyperson! As a busy hotel we often have several maintenance jobs that need doing throughout the year. These types of jobs include things such as unblocking sinks / fixing leaking sinks, putting up shelves, painting/decorating, changing light bulbs, fixing toilet flushes, putting up curtains, or fixing door handles. It can often be difficult to find tradespeople willing to do such minor jobs, that’s where volunteers can step in to help. Read more
