Join in for an exciting Treasure Hunt on the Barbican in Plymouth THIS (Saturday 15th June).

The RAOB 'Our Boys Lodge' (No 149) are hosting this fantastic event in aid of Hearts Together. All are welcome, £3.00 per person, no pre booking required and all money goes to Hearts Together! Starting point to meet is at the Dolphin Hotel on the Barbican any time after 12.30pm, look out for the team from RAOB who will be wearing light blue polo shirts on for identification.

Bro John Francis Scooter Challenge

John will be riding his scooter around the perimeter of Plymouth Hoe, for as many laps as he feels able or when the battery is depleted. The Scooter has a range of 10 miles (16km), each lap of Plymouth Hoe is approx. 2/3 of a mile (1km). All monies received will be put towards this year’s Lodge Charity Appeal The Hearts Together Hospital Hotel at Derriford.

Our plans to expand

Our big build project sees Hearts Together set to expand from 26 bedrooms to 73 over two build phases, an ambitious but very necessary challenge that we intend to meet head on, as we look to accommodate the ever-growing needs of patients, carers, relatives, our local community, healthcare professionals and trainees.
Student Volunteer Counsellors

We are looking for student counsellors to join our team alongside our qualified counsellors to help us to provide an informal counselling support service for our guests staying at Hearts Together Hospital Hotel. This service is so important in enabling us to provide much-needed support to those who are often preoccupied with supporting others, or who are dealing with complex or life-changing issues themselves.

he thought of creating a Hospital Hotel which would support patients receiving treatment at Derriford was the dream Monica Pearce first suggested back in 1993, following her successful campaign for the Cardiac unit to be brought to Derriford in 1994.
